Cooling Tower Inspection & Support
Regular Cooling Tower inspection are a must and by gaining an insight into the hygienic condition of the towers help you maintain effective Cooling Efficiency and importantly remain compliant with ACoP L8 and HSG274 Part1. We combine our use of borescope inspection techniques with our knowledge and expertise working with all types and sizes of Cooling Towers to provide you with a report that aligns with HSG274 Part1 and provides practical recommendations to improve hygiene and performance. For large forced draft or natural draft towers inspection can be paired with our PackScan technique to better understand the overall condition.
PackScan
When it comes to larger cooling towers, traditional inspection methods such as borescope inspections can take a long time with multiple personnel entering a confined space and only providing limited insight into the condition within the fill pack (often as little as 0.1% of the surface area). In recognition of this EPSCO developed and patented PackScan which removes the need for such demands on resources and provides unparalleled insight into the levels of fouling across the entire fill pack. Only a two operative team is required to operate PackScan vastly reducing the amount of personnel required in the confined space. After scanning our team will build a 3D model representative of the fill pack to help identify problem areas or to tailor cleaning plans.
